About me
Roy Maor is an Algorithm Team Leader at Panoptica, Cisco's cloud application security product. Roy’s team drives the development of the product's trademark cloud graph, a dynamic engine detecting cloud security threats through graph theory models and algorithms. Roy is deeply passionate about data, algorithms, and machine learning. Before Panoptica, he was a founding engineer at Lightspin, a cloud security startup acquired by Cisco in 2023.
Roy holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the Technion—Israel Institute of Technology and is currently pursuing an MBA from Tel Aviv University.
In his free time, Roy enjoys investing, running, chess, documentaries, and geopolitics.
