Jens Wessling is the Chief Technology Officer at Veracode. He leads the architecture vision for Veracode’s core capabilities around its proprietary data model and AI-powered remediation engine. With more than 25 years’ experience in software engineering and architecture, Jens is committed to developing scalable, reliable, and innovative systems that tackle complex business challenges and deliver substantial value to customers.
Jens has a proven track record of leading and mentoring high-performing teams, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, and driving technical excellence and innovation. He has extensive expertise in cloud computing, data engineering, software development, and patent generation. Prior to Veracode, Jens led software architecture at Bullhorn and LLamasoft, where he contributed to multiple patents and developed large data environments and high-speed systems. Jens holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Michigan-Dearborn and a Bachelor's in Computer Science.
